Sara Wolfe-Israelyan

Sara has been with aaff since April 2022, where she currently serves as a senior attorney within aaff International. From this international practice, she advises entrepreneurs and investors on (cross-border) mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic transactions. She provides counsel on both domestic and international transactions, with a particular focus on cross-border structures and collaboration across different legal systems. Her approach is professional and pragmatic, always keeping her clients’ commercial objectives in mind.
Sara earned her master’s degrees in International Business Law from Tilburg University and the University of Minnesota (U.S.). She began her career as an attorney at both a large and a mid-sized law firm and subsequently worked as an independent consultant in a variety of sectors, including retail, healthcare, and legal services. This broad background gives her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and investors, particularly in an international context.
In 2023, she completed the postgraduate specialization program in Mergers & Acquisitions at the VU Law Academy, further deepening her expertise in the field of mergers and acquisitions.
Sara specializes in mergers and acquisitions and corporate law and is involved in both domestic and international transactions. Her practice includes, among other things:
- the acquisition and sale of companies, specifically cross-border mergers and acquisitions;
- assisting with restructurings such as legal mergers and demergers;
- advising on partnerships, governance, and shareholder structures;
- drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
